PRODCUT DESCRIPTION

There are a number of methods to decorate apparel but by far the four most common are embroidery, sublimation, screen printing and heat press. However, they are very different in terms of their application, benefits and situations in which you would use one over the other.

EMBROIDERY

  • Logo embroidery is used most often for apparel that will be used for uniforms or promotions

  • Most embroidered logo are done on the left chest

  • Size for logo/personal name is usually 2.5" - 3" (any large embroidered design on a tshirt would spell disaster for both the shirt and the embroidered design because tshirt material is too thin to properly hold all the embroidery stitches. It would not look good)

  • Direct logo or personal name embroidered on apparel

  • Exclusive and classier way to present a design

  • Strong durability

  • Choices of threds colors

  • All types of fabric can be embroidered

  • No minimum quantity 

  • Set up fee*

SUBLIMATION

  • Your custom design are transferred straight to your shirt, without any feel of texture overlapping- which means the shirt is breatheable

  • Full color is possible

  • Strong durability as the print wont fade or crack

  • Material : polyester fabric 

  • No mimimum quantity

  • Perfect for any size

  • No set up fee

  • Cons - only can be printed on a light color fabric

SCREEN PRINTING

  • Logo for screen printing is most often used in promotional apparel

  • The design look like they were painted on a shirt

  • Charges depending on colors and size

  • Solid colors only

  • Medium durability

  • Perfect for larger designs consisting of one or two colors

  • All types of fabric can be screen printed

  • Minimum quantity 10 pieces

  • No set up fee

  • Cons- in the long run the print may crack and the print does not breathe well (may provoke sweating)

HEAT PRESS PRINTING

  • Heat transfer printing is very convenient and the level of detail is better than screen print

  • The printed design is look like a transferred paper on the shirt

  • Gradient color is possible

  • Almost all types of fabric can be heat pressed

  • Size up to A4 only

  • No set up fee

  • No minimum quantity

  • Charges depending on the size only

  • Cons- the print does not last long, it may fade after a few washes
